On June 27th, 2026, Songs for a Stronger Tomorrow returned to 100 Acre Brewing for another incredible day of live music, community connection, and support for mental health.
Following the success of our first event in 2025, our second annual fundraiser brought together local artists, businesses, vendors, volunteers, and community members in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association HKPR. Together, we raised over $2,300 to support local mental health and addiction programs across our region.
The day was filled with amazing performances from local musicians, family activities, community vendors, a silent auction, and meaningful conversations — creating a welcoming space where people could connect, support one another, and celebrate the power of music and community.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, donated, sponsored, and helped make this event possible. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support that allows Songs for a Stronger Tomorrow to grow each year.
This event would not have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors and community partners:

Songs for a Stronger Tomorrow is one part of the larger vision behind Bearing North — creating opportunities for people to connect, engage with their communities, and work together toward positive change.
June 28th, 2025 marked the beginning of Songs for a Stronger Tomorrow — a day of live music, family fun, and community connection in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association HKPR.
Our first annual all-ages, pay-what-you-can event brought together local artists, businesses, and community members at 100 Acre Brewing to support mental health and addiction programs across Peterborough and the Kawarthas. Together, we raised $3,500 through cash and online donations, creating an incredible day filled with music, connection, and generosity.
The energy throughout the day was a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who performed, volunteered, donated, attended, and helped bring this event to life.
The success of our first year inspired us to continue growing Songs for a Stronger Tomorrow into an annual celebration of music, community, and support. Thank you for being part of the beginning — we look forward to seeing you again in 2026 and beyond!
